Privacy Notice

When you register a child for CYO Youth Basketball we ask for what a volunteer-run league needs to run a safe season:

• Parent / guardian: name, email, phone, home address, and an emergency contact.
• Player: name, date of birth, gender, grade, height, school, uniform sizes and — for travel tryouts — whether your child is Catholic.
• Medical: allergies, medical conditions, medications, physician and insurance details, so coaches can respond properly in an emergency.
• Waiver: your typed signature and the date you agreed.

Your registration is stored in a private database that only the CYO coordinator and the volunteer who maintains this site can open. Coaches receive their team's roster and each player's medical notes and emergency contact — nothing more. We never sell, rent or share your information with anyone else.

Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page. Your card number never touches this site — we only learn that a payment succeeded and the amount.

We send one confirmation email per registration, and for travel tryouts an email about team placement. These go out through Resend, an email delivery service. We do not send newsletters or marketing.

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only strictly-necessary security cookies may be set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to protect the site, and by Cloudflare's sign-in for the admin page — which parents never see. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for the font files and nothing else.

Registrations are kept for the current season and the one after it, so returning families and any follow-up questions can be handled, then deleted. You can ask us to correct or delete your family's information at any time.
